Have you ever heard about YODELING? Em, pernah dengar lagu² dari Swiss Apls or country music tak? Ok meh Pojie nak trigger your curiosity pasal yodeling nih. So far Pojie tak berminat nak wat analisis vokal sbb Pojie tak reti dan ada insan lebih pakar dari hal ini, Nuar & Ajim (compliment nih, clap³...), tp Pojie lebih ske discover jenis² nyanyian yg unik. Dan yodeling falls under this category. Klo sebelum ini Pojie ada wat ulasan pasal Soprano dan Tenor (and a lil bit about Falsetto), now nak wat ulasan pasal Yodeling plak.

Mengikut pembacaan Pojie dari beberapa sumber, yodeling (or yodelling, jodeling) adalah sejenis nyanyian yang melibatkan unjuran notasi yg berlebih²an dan berulang² from the chest voice to the fasetto voice, making a high-low-high-low sound. The famous example syllable "Yudl - Ay - EEE - Ooooo", the "EEE" is sung in the head voice (or falsetto), while all other syllables are in the chest voice. Paham ker idak? Nak translate takut lari plak maksud dia. Takpe², nanti Pojie akan tayang kat uols contoh² nyanyian yodeling nih thru the vc from Youtube. So far yodeling ni byk boleh didengar melalui country music. Yang penting korang paham apa tuh yodeling, xpayah pening² paler nak terangkan, xmasuk exam punyer kwn²... Yang pasti lagu² yodeling nih sumer lagu² yg menghiburkan, ceria and fun!

Yang pasti the yodel sweetheart yg tgh famous skrg since dia masuk reality show kat America iaitu America's Got Talent, Taylor Ware pasti berbangga kerana dia dapat mempopularkan semula nyanyian seperti ini. My 1st impression when I saw this little girl yodeling in the show, I was amused! She's very talented in yodeling. Sejak dari itu la Pojie bersemangat nak tau further pasal yodeling nih dan skrg nah, inilah dia...

Apa yang menarik pasal yodeling nih tidak terhad kepada country music or Swiss Alps sajer tapi juga pernah di buat oleh seorang penyanyi, pelakon dan komposer India, Kishore Kumar yg terkenal sebagai yodeller dalam citer² Bollywood. Pojie xsure plak klo ada artis Malaysia ada yg reti yodeling nih. Pojie rasa cam ada but really can't recognise the artis. Anyone know??? Per² hal pun jom tengok salah 1 lagu yodel versi hindustan dari beliau...

P/S: Agak²nya leh xmasukkan unsur² yodeling dalam lagu zapin..? Nanti jadi Zapin Yodel plak ek... Mampos aku kene banned pasnih. Hehehe...
